Continuing Education Changes for RECORDED Webcast Attendees
Once registered , attendees will receive a confirmation letter directing them to the “Access Recorded Webcasts” page with a link to the WebEx OnDemand Center. Each registered viewer will be tracked when they log in with their name and email address. The webcast link will expire once the attendee has satisfied the CPE requirement. CPE credits will be applied to their record on a periodic basis and a certificate of attendance will be emailed.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Sal L. Tripodi, J.D., LL.M.,APM, TRI Pension Services
Sal currently maintains a nationally-based consulting practice in the employee benefits area, TRI Pension Services. TRI Pension Services provides technical training in ERISA-related areas, presenting seminars around the country, and authors a eight-volume reference guide, The ERISA Outline Book, and two electronic quarterly newsletters, ERISA Views and eRISA Update. He does ERISA-related seminars for major financial institutions, trade and professional associations, and consulting firms all over the United States. Sal served as the President of the American Society of Pension Professional and actuaries (ASPPA) for the 2007-2008 term. He was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program from 1986 through 2007. Sal started his employee benefits career with the Internal Revenue Service, as a Tax Law Specialist with the IRS National Office (1979-1983). Since 1983, Sal has been in the private sector, consulting on employee benefit matters, writing reference materials concerning employee benefit plans, and conducting numerous seminars. In 2001, Sal received ASPPA’s Educator Award. In 2007, he was inducted into the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. Sal received a J.D. at Catholic University of America Law School (1979) and an LL.M. at Georgetown University Law School (1983).
Sharon Severson, CPC, QPA, Director, Retirement Plan Products, CUNA Mutual Group
Sharon is a director in the Retirement Plan Products division of CUNA Mutual Group in Madison, WI. She has 20+ years of experience in the retirement industry specializing in plan design, consulting and compliance of defined contribution and defined benefit plans for corporations and credit unions across the country. Prior to joining CUNA Mutual Group in April 1995, she managed a small TPA business in Madison, WI. Sharon has been a volunteer with ASPPA's Education & Education (E&E) Committee since 1996 and currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the QPA Credential and acts as the Publication liaison to the Executive Committee.
